The research area of Department of Philosophy and Religious Studies is consists of the discussions on the history of philosophy, Islamic philosophy, philosophy of religion, logic, religion, education, religion, sociology, religion, psychology and the history of religions and changes of human and society in different ideas that emerged throughout the history. Department of Philosophy and Religious Studies comprise the following eight main branches of science: Islamic Philosophy, History of Philosophy, Philosophy of Religion, Logic, History of Religion, Sociology of Religion, and Psychology of Religion.
The students who successfully complete the program are awarded the degree of Master of Science in Philosophy and Religious Studies.
Undergraduate Degree

Students must pass all the courses in the program. Students’ grade should not be FF, DZ or NZ. Students provide a minimum of 120 ECTS credits and GPA of at least 2.00 on a4.00 in this program.
The purpose of the program is to train qualified students who are familiar with the basic issues and can make comment, criticism, analyzing on events and phenomena scientifically within the scope of the Department of Philosophy and Religious Studies, Sociology of Religion, Psychology of Religion, Islam, Philosophy, Religion, Education, Logic, History of Philosophy, Philosophy of Religion, History of Religions.

To work as academic staff in universities in related disciplines. Working in various positions within the Department of Religious Affairs, to suit a variety of governmental and non-governmental organizations, companies, etc.
Students who have successfully completed master's program are eligible to enter the Ph.D. program if they complete to take the necessary conditions for the Ph.D. program.
